Dining Manager - Opening and Closing Manager (Dining Services)

Full-time position available, shift varies. Must be available to work days, nights, holidays and weekends. • Responsible for planning, managing and coordinating activities within the dining services department, while providing quality food and services for residents, guests and associates. • Schedules and supervises staff to include: interviewing, training, disciplinary procedures and evaluations. Responsible for maintaining and completing payroll for department. • Responsible for opening and closing of kitchen and dining rooms; ensuring proper storage and labeling of food products and equipment safety logs. • Inspects work, storage and serving areas to ensure regulations governing food safety and sanitation are followed. • Must possess strong communication skills, be able to multi- task and have a working knowledge of therapeutic diets. • Five years’ experience in a long-term care or senior living setting preferred.
