A
planned gift is a way to help your neighbor and yourself.
Helping
others in need is a part of the American culture. Many of our college graduates
are able to attend college because of scholarship funds established and
contributed to by others.
Westminster Canterbury also has a “scholarship
fund" called the Fellowship Endowment. However,
instead of providing for an education, it helps some of our neighbors remain a
part of our community if they should experience a financial reversal or outlive
their resources. Westminster Canterbury is a life care community from which no one
will be forced to move because they can no longer afford their monthly service
fee. The
Fellowship Endowment Fund enables them to stay.
There
are unique ways in which you can help grow the fund that also can help you.
This is the first in a series about these opportunities.
