Meeting the Needs of All Denominations

A Christian, faith-based community, Westminster Canterbury strives to meet the spiritual needs of all denominations. Residents are active in their own local churches or attend services in our chapel.

A strong and ecumenical pastoral care program is designed to serve all residents throughout the Westminster Canterbury community. In addition to Westminster Canterbury's full-time chaplain, clergy of various denominations conduct weekly and special spiritual services as part of the community's effort to meet the needs of all faiths. A specially trained team of pastoral care volunteers offers comfort to those in assisted living and healthcare.

Weekly and special services are held in Weissert Chapel, and Roman Catholic Mass is offered monthly. Every resident has the opportunity for a monthly one-on-one interaction with the chaplain and/or a pastoral care volunteer.

The chaplain's office makes every effort to keep active each resident's connection with his or her
place of worship.
