Alzheimer's Disease takes a huge toll on a family—financially, emotionally and psychologically. In the latter stages of the disease, it is especially important to address the comfort needs of the patient. Westminster Canterbury's Memory Support Center offers safe, familiar and comfortable surroundings, where family members and friends can visit and provide loving support.

Featuring many advances in the care of Alzheimer's patients, the Memory Support Center features an enclosed wandering garden, where residents can enjoy the outdoors within a safe, secure enclosure. Experiencing the outdoors helps to reduce anxiety and improve sleep patterns of Alzheimer's patients. The floor plan of the building also allows patients the freedom to explore. The center is joined to Hearthside by an Eden atrium.
