New Health Services Administrator and New Chaplain Join Westminster Canterbury
Lynchburg, Virginia — December 2010
Elizabeth E. (Liz) Kail has joined Westminster Canterbury as Vice President of Health Services and The Reverend Jeffrey Liddy has been appointed Chaplain.
Formerly administrator of Guggenheimer Health & Rehabilitation in Lynchburg, Liz Kail will oversee nursing, assisted living, wellness clinic and memory support services. She is a licensed nursing home administrator and a nursing home preceptor. Kail brings 27 years of experience in long-term, sub-acute and rehabilitation care to her new position.
"I hope to use my experience to improve the already high quality of care that Westminster Canterbury provides to its residents," she said. "We will continue to put residents first and ensure that everything Westminster Canterbury does is resident-centered and resident-oriented," she added. Kail graduated Magna cum Laude with a BS in Health Care Management from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University.
The Rev. Jeffrey Liddy brings twenty-seven years experience as a priest in the Episcopal Church to his new role as chaplain for the 475 people who call Westminster Canterbury home. Formerly Dean & Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, Rev. Liddy is a graduate of the University of Iowa and received his Master of Divinity from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL.
