Doug Wigner Elected to Board of Trustees
New board member elected at Westminster Canterbury

Westminster Canterbury, a full-service, accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community in Lynchburg, has elected The Very Rev. Doug Wigner, DMIN, to its board of trustees.
Former Rector and now Rector Emeritus of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lynchburg, The Rev. Wigner received a BS in History from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg, and a Masters in Divinity (MDIV) and Doctorate in Ministry (DMIN) from Virginia Theological Seminary. He now serves on the board of Virginia Theological Seminary, he is dean of the Lynchburg Convocation of the Episcopal Diocese of Southwestern Virginia, and is president of the board of the Interfaith Outreach Association of Lynchburg.
The Reverend Wigner served as a captain in the U.S. Army infantry in Germany and Vietnam, and has served churches in Connecticut and Virginia before coming to St. Paul's, Lynchburg in 1997.
