The Westminster Canterbury National Wildlife
Foundation “Backyard Wildlife Habitat” is a volunteer project established by
residents striving to promote understanding and appreciation of the natural
resources on our surrounding grounds. The “Habitat” will serve as an area
for creativity in gardening to enhance the grounds of our growing community;
provide food, shelter, water and nesting boxes to encourage and protect
birds and butterflies and other small creatures; develop a therapeutically
oriented horticulture program to benefit all interested residents and their
visitors; and encourage beautification and conservation efforts on the part
of every member of our community. PHOTO
