Making a Difference for Residents and Team Members
Our team members are making a difference every day at Westminster Canterbury-Lynchburg. We have surprised team members and recognized their extra efforts through our “Making a Difference” awards.
Brenda Hall
Brenda Hall was surprisedwith an award for her efforts to answer questions about the history of WCLynchburg for a new resident. She provided copies of our newsletters and alsoread the information aloud for the resident. Brenda is a member of the careteam in the 4th floor Appalachian neighborhood of Drinkard Health Center. Krystal Defibaugh
Krystal Defibaugh, LPN, received accolades for her role as a mentor to nursing student Kiana Jackson, CNA: “…Krystal goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of her patients. She leads by example with realistic expectations.” Krystal, a team leader for our Short Term Rehabilitation Center, was congratulated on her Making a Difference award by (L-R) April Whalen, RN, BSN, CEO Sean Huyett, Thomas Doran, RN and Director of Nursing Ashley Jordan, RN, BSN, NP-C.
